Awoke at 3:30 a.m and vowed no coffee. I mixed some chocolate protein mix with powdered dry milk and microwaved it for some hot cocoa drink. Love coffee, but the jolt it gives is supposedly not the best thing in the world if one is trying to rewire his circuitry.
The Kaiser-Spa, as it's affectionately termed, is alive and well. My monthly Coaster pass was purchased yesterday. Being over 62 years allows for a discount so the cost is $45.50......reasonable to say the least. Anyway, the train usually gets me within a ten minute bicycle ride to Kaiser and I've made the ride daily with the exception of two days.
It's wonderful to watch people change as the days go by. I'm in a yoga class. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step and oh how true that is with yoga and where my flexibility and endurance are for starters.
Today, I'll try to take down my raised garden bed the depth of one cement block. Also, I'm going to clock a bicycle run to the train station by a different route in order to increase my strength and stamina. As it now stands, I can ride to the station in 14 minutes with most of the ride downhill. This new route will be mostly flat and will increase the distance by a mile to two miles. My knee certainly is feeling better (like 99.8%)....YES!
So that's the happenings and thoughts on this day. I love my grand children, children and their spouses. May we all smile.
