Time has come for Joy to start chemotherapy. I will do my best to comfort her, she's a trooper. It's something that must be done; such a stark reality.
I was glad that we saw Avery and that we'll see her again at the end of February while Damian is in San Diego on business. She's very alert and already becoming a traveler. She's truly loved by all.
Work is going well. Still planning on retiring around June 1, 2008 and then working part time for the company (maximum 975 hours per year).
Nancy is on a restricted diet because of suspected allergies. I still take her to the park, but I have to keep her on leash so she doesn't scarf any leftovers strewn about the grounds. She's a wonderful companion.
Slacked off a tad in exercise, but not too much and certainly not back to becoming a couch potato. I've got the right attitude to stay the course.
I am concerned for Joy, but I am determined to stay positive and be of as much help as possible.
Netflix will deliver some Monk episodes to us by Thursday so we'll do our "green tea and Monk" routine in the late mornings or early afternoons.
