I went to a heart specialist today. I was sent there by my primary care physician since he detected and irregular heartbeat, better know as atrial fibrillation. I was going to direct anybody interested to particular websites, but all one has to do is enter the subject into a search engine and there is endless amounts of information.
The specialist put me on some diltizem in place of one of the current blood pressure medications I am now taking. I'll monitor for three days then email him and go from there. He said for me to resume normal activity and any adjustments will be made along the way. I also have some other tests going on in the upcoming three weeks so I'll keep you updated.
Since I am eating properly ( 99.9 % ) and gaining more energy as a result of weight loss it follows that the exercise agenda should take care of itself. I'm not too concerned about anything. I'm feeling completely normal; I've gotten into a morning of daily readings and a twenty minute meditation session so psychologically I'm grooving along.
My self prognosis is that I've got somewhere between 24 hours and 24 more years to live, so as long as the chain on the motorcycle is well oiled then everything else will take care of itself.
